What is a Hang?
The Hang (pronounced 'hung') is crafted by Felix Rohner and Sabina Schaerer of the PANArt Hangbau Company in Bern Switzerland. The Hang first took shape in 2000.Hang means 'hand' in the local Bernese dialect which is an appropriate name as the Hang is designed to be strictly played with ones’ hands. Its plural is Hanghang. PANArt has since inspired many makers worldwide in creating Hand Pans.
What is Kirtan?
Kirtans events are typically 1-2 hours of call-and-response chanting with musical accompaniment. Call and response a style of singing in which a chant is sung by one singer (usually the leader) and sung back by the audience. No prior experience is required.
I want to join a Workshops.
Connection to Creation, Alchemy of Love, Back Repair, Men’s Groups. These Workshops are approximately 2-4 hours modules as Half day or full day.
Depending on the particular program you will experience of call-and-response chanting, Heather Lyle Vocal Yoga Method warm up and singing techniques, Movement, yoga, dance, Meditation, Energy healing techniques, Foundation Training.
What happens on a retreat?
Alchemy of Avalon Pilgrimage Week long or Alchemy of Love weekend retreats are from 2-6 days. Teachers facilitate morning and or afternoon workshops, Yoga, mediation and Movement include call-and-response chanting. Because of the length of the retreat, it offers more time for the participant to dive deeper into the experience and get a lot more relaxed.
